Delphi is the leader supplier of systems and components for the automotive market present in 45 countries that has designed the first air conditioning system for vehicles in 1954.
Since then we have developed and produced kits for the major automotive manufacturers, differing in quality and everlasting pursuit of new technology. Delphi has 10 plants throughout the world for the production of AC components for the major OEM and for the Independent Aftermarket.
The site specialised in the design of systems for AC Low Volume applications such as Agriculture, Off Highway, Commercial Vehicles, Buses as well as Mobile Systems for Refrigeration is Molinella, nearby Bologna in Italy (Delphi Diavia).
Delphi Diavia has designed, produced and distributed Air Conditioning Systems since 1970 with high quality components used for the flexible and customer oriented position in the designing stage, reacting quickly to all customers’ demands.
Delphi Diavia’s plant operations include design, R&D, manufacturing, testing and validation both for OEM and IAM.
Delphi Diavia’s main laboratories for product tests and validation are: Electric/Electronic Laboratories, Climate Wind Tunnels, Climatic Room (up to 12m vehicle, up to + 55°C ext. temperature), Blower test stand, Vehicle Electric Balance, Heater, evaporator, condenser performance stand, HVAC air leak test equipment, Component durability test stand (Shaker and climatic room), Vibration analysis (FFT analyzer).
